Taken at Tate Hill, Whitby in the 1880's. From the left, the men on this photograph are Robert 'Stumper' Dryden, Thomas ‘Cotty’ Raistrick, his son Thomas and John Batchelor. The boy has not been identified. The two Raistricks were drowned in 1887 when their coble 'George Albert' was lost at sea. They were 56 and 28 years of age respectively.
