“After the Fishing”
Taken about 1895 at Robin Hood’s Bay, the Storm family —- Thomas, Rueben, Matthew, spy the dog and Isaac can be seen gathered around their fishing coble ‘Gratitude. These smaller winter or line fishing cobles were often painted blue with a red band on the strakes.
Isaac, the father, was a lifeboat cox for a number of years and he was still fishing with his sons at 90 years of age.
